I've had the Breville BJB840XL Juice and Blend combo for about two weeks now, and have been using it twice daily, mainly for juicing. I have found some aspects of this juicer better than expected, and some aspects disappointing. I rate it as follows:
Juicing: 3 stars. I purchased this product mainly to use as a juicer, as the other similar Breville juicers seemed to be unavailable, even on Breville's own website. Maybe they have been discontinued. At any rate, the juicing performance is disappointing. I've been making a green vegetable juice consisting usually of kale, parsley, celery, cucumber and apples, and a red vegetable juice made of tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots and scallions. Although the powerful motor allows the vegetables to be pushed through very quickly, a surprising amount of the produce ends up in the pulp bin.
